Why?

The CDG Express project entered the public enquiry stage, implemented by the Prefects of the Ile-de-France and Paris region, Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne under the leadership of a Commission of Enquiry and organised in the 15 towns and villages affected by the project. This is a major stage in the development of the project and for local people because the enquiry aims to improve awareness of the project and collect a large number of opinions and observations.

When the public enquiry has finished, the Commission of Enquiry will look closely at the observations in the registers, draft an enquiry report, and formulate an opinion which it will then pass on to the Prefect of the Ile-de-France and Paris Region, who is coordinating the enquiry. The declaration of public utility will take the form of an inter-Prefectoral Order. The report by the Commission of Enquiry will be accessible to the public in all the towns affected and on the project website.
